A number of Leevale master and junior athletes travelled to Abbotstown to compete in the Autumn Open Cross Country Festival at the National Sports Campus. This was the first competition on the new national cross country course and the general consensus of the athletes is that it is a much tougher course than it looks.
Carmel Parnell won the F60 category while Michelle Kenny finished 3rd in the F35 category.
