John Corr travelled to European Masters Indoor Championships in Ancona Italy to compete in the M45 category. John, a sprint specialist won his heat & semi in 60m settings new Irish M45 record of 7.34 in his semifinal. A poor start in the final kept him out of the medals, but his semifinal time 7.34 would have secured him a bronze.
John also ran heats & semis in the 200m & set a new M45 record of 24.00. He just missed securing a place in the final by .02 of a second
