The Munster Athletics Novice, U23 and Juvenile Even Age Cross Country Championships 2016 was held in Ballinahina, Carraig na bhFear over the weekend.
Leevale men won the novice title with second place finish for Luke Horgan, David Fox 3rd, Stephen Young 8th and Stephen Murphy 9th.
In the juvenile races Charlie O’Donovan and a super win the BU18 race, while the ever improving Ben Smith was the second Corkman home in 9th place, Conor O’Driscoll finished 14th and James Mintern was 20th, securing 3rd place for the team.
Tommie Connolly had a great run to take 2nd in the BU16 race, a year above his own age group.
