DAY 1
Leevale athletes travelled to Nenagh to compete in 2016 Juvenile U13-U19 Munster Indoor Championships.
Molly Healy started the day off with gold in the GU18 high jump with a winning height of 1.55m. Tommie Connolly took bronze in the BU15 high jump with a 1.50m.
Laura Murphy, back after a long injury break, finished second in the GU19 200m. She followed this with at fourth place finish in the 60m sprint.
Kaitlyn Coffey has an impressive win the GU16 800m final. Matt Murnane also had a comfortable win in BU19 1500m.
In the sprints Caitlin Hennessey, finished a very close second in the GU13 60m final, which club-mate Ella Scott finishing just outside the medals.
Hugh Collins was the clear winner in the BU14 60m hurdles, while in the BU15 60m hurdles Wymin Sivakumar took gold from Shane Aherne.
DAY 2
Leevale athletes were in flying form on day 2 of the U13-U19 Munster Indoor Championships.
Reece Adenoma set a championship record with a phenomenal leap of 5.57m to take victory in the BU14 long jump. Hugh Collins jumped a PB of 5.08 m to secure 3rd place in same competition. Wymin Sivakumar rounded off the jumps medals by taking victory in the BU15 LJ with a leap of 5.45m, his second gold of the weekend.
In the 60m sprints Robert Twomey took victory in the BU15 race, Luke Ring won the BU19 race, Conor Morey finished 3rd in the BU16 race, Reece Ademola was 3rd U14 60m sprint with teammate Hugh Collins just behind in 4th and Harry Nevin finished 3rd in the BU13 sprint.
Kaitlyn Coffey was in flying form all weekend taking her second gold in the GU16 1500m. Alannah Neff also secured gold in the GU17 1500m, while the ever versatile Tommie Connolly won the BU15 800m in a time of 2:14.
Emily Wall won the GU14 sprint hurdles demonstrating a resurgence in hurdlers in the club.
In the shot out Padraig O Callaghan finished 2nd in the BU17 shot, with a throw of 9.75m while Alex Ademola finished 3rd in BU13 event.
