Claire Gibbons-McCarthy had a great run at last Friday night’s Donoughmore 7. In what was her first race since the half-marathon at the European Championships, Claire smashed the old course record with a time of 39:18 and was actually the second athlete across the line on the night. Finbarr O’Dwyer was next Leevale athlete home in 5th overall.
