The summer road racing season is well underway now, with a race taking place locally almost every night of the week.
Eric Curran has been a regular winner on the BHAA circuit over the past year and last night he added the Pfizer 6 miler to his collection of wins.
On Tuesday evening there was a 5K around the streets of Fermoy where Michael Pat O’Regan finished 2nd overall.
On Sunday Tim Twomey was the winner of the 5K at Bweeng, and at the same event Carol Finn warmed down from her 1500m at the Leevale meet the day before by winning the 10K
Also on Sunday, Cillian Ó Tuama won the Kingsley 10K held on the Lee Road\Straight Road circuit.
Last Thursday, James Grufferty had a good 2nd in a competitive Midleton 5 mile race.
