The South Munster Schools Cross Country Championships were held yesterday in heavy conditions at the Munster Agricultural Grounds in Curraheen. Charlie O’Donovan continued his good form and confortably took victory in the Inter Boys race, while David Fox was the winner of the Senior Boys event. Rhona Pierce is returning to form and was 2nd in the Senior Girls, and Alannah Neff also had a good run to finish 4th in the Inter Girls. Tommy Connolly also had a 4th, in a very competitive Junior Boys race and n the Junior Girls event there was an individal bronze for Kaitlyn Coffey.
