The two big road races over the Bank Holiday weekend were the Great Limerick Run, which included the Munster Marathon and Half-Marathon Championships, and the Great Island 10 and 4 Mile races in Cobh.
In Limerick, Brian Hegarty had a great run in the half, finishing 2nd overall in 72:24. Finbarr O’Dwyer was 5th overall in 75:03 and Nollaigh O’Neill was 4th overall in the womens’ race.
