Alex Wright has had a superb indoor season and has now brought that form to the outdoor. Over the weekend Alex won the prestigious Lugano Trophy – 14° Memorial Mario Albisetti 20K race walk in Switzerland, joining a very illustrious list of previous winners. Alex won in a new PB of 1:21:19, 34 second clear of his nearest rival, Tom Bosworth of GB.
Alex states that “I am thrilled to start my outdoor season with a win at the prestigious Lugano Trophy over the 20km and setting a new persobal best. Now back to training as I look forward to my next race in 2 weeks.”
