It is now official: Charlie O’Donovan has been selected on the Irish squad to compete in the 1500m at the European U20 Athletics Championships in Grosseto July 20/23.
Charlie states , “there are so many people to thank including everyone at Leevale AC, but special thanks goes to my parents for bringing me to every single race, Ken Nason for all his work and making it all happen, and Ryan Creech for keeping me in one piece throughout the season! I am looking forward to representing my country and competing on the international stage.”
