Leevale athlete Annette Quaid competed at the European Indoor master Championships in Madrid during the week. On Wednesday Annette won a tactical heat in a time of 2:25.98, automatically qualifying for the final. On Thursday, in a hotly contested final, Annette ran a superb race to take bronze in 2:17.90.
This a fantastic achievement for Annette and adds her to the Leevale international medals list.
