Leevale Hurdlers Shine At AAI Juvenile Indoor Championships Day 3

Leevale hurdle athletes dominated day 3 of the AAI Juvenile Indoor Championships winning total of five golds, one silver and a bronze, including two championship best performances. 

Ella Scott was one of the highlights in a series of excellent 60m hurdles races. She won with CBP of 8.78 in the U15 girls ahead of her clubmate Lucy-May Sleeman in 9.07.

John Cashman was another to record a CBP with a time of 9.28 seconds in the U13 boys. 

Emily Wall was the clear winner the GU16 race with superb time of 9.07. 

Harry Nevin was the clear winner of the BU15 race, while Wymin Sivakumar hurdled flawessly to win the tightest race of the day in the BU17. 

In the GU18 Aisling Cassidy finished in 4th in 9.03, the same time as 3rd placed athlete. 

U13 athlete Okwu Backari came home with two medals when she finished second the long jump and third in the 60m hurdles. 

Additional Leevale finalist included, Marc Jones BU18 – 200m, GU14 60mH – Jessica Lynn, 5th. BU15 60mH – Conor Callinan & Colin Murphy, GU14 60mH -Jessica Lynn 5th . BU16  60mH – Hugh Collins 6th. Gu13  60mH – Fatimo  Amusa 4th
