Leevale women’s marathon team write their way into the history books by setting a new Irish record of 8:25 for the national marathon. Lizzie Lee won the national title in 2:35:03, with Jill Hodgins in 3rd place in 2:47:53 and Nollaigh O’Neill 34th in 3:02:10, beating the previous record by two minutes.
