As part of her preparation in for the Marathon at European Championships in Berlin in just a few weeks, Lizzie Lee competed in the South Dublin 10K. Lizzie was the first woman home in an impressive time of 33:25; she was actually the third athlete over the line which earned a place on the podium for the overall race. David Flynn won the race in 32:02, with Itato Giancaterina finishing second just ahead of Lizzie in 33:21. The third man over the line was Leevale’s John Shine in 33:35.
All looking really good for Berlin.
