Two Leevale athletes competed at the Antrim International Cross Country at the CAFRE Greenmount Campus on Saturday. The meet also included the Celtic International Cross Country races.
In the boys under 17 event, Tommy Connolly finished in 8th place and was the 3rd Irish man home, helping the team secure gold.
Mark Hanrahan competed in the senior international event. Mark ran a strong race to finish in 10th place and was the 3rd Irish man home behind Hugh Armstrong of Ballina AC (7th) and Clonmel’s Kevin Maunsell (9th).
