It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of Ben Flahive. Sergeant Ben Flahive, who was the sergeant-in-charge of the Juvenile Diversion Programme for Cork city and county, died on Friday night following an illness.
Ben was an active member of Leevale Commitee for many years and was the first Welfare Office of the Club. His sons Kevin and Brian were strong juvenile athletes in the club and were prominent on many winning relay teams. We remember Ben fondly and we pass our deepest sympathies to the Flahive Family.
