Ryan Creech ran a fabulous 63:26 in the Antrim Coast Half-Marathon in Larne on Sunday August 29th. After years of ongoing injury issues and multiple surgeries it was great to see Ryan back in an Irish singlet, competing in a prestigious World Athletics Gold Label Elite Race.
Ryan finished in 6th place, just being the two Ethiopians, one Nigerian and two British Athletes. This makes Ryan the second fastest Leevale (and Cork) Half-Marathoner, behind Mark Carroll, who ran 63:11, in New York in October 2002.
