Leevale athletes were in action over the weekend at the Munster U12, U13, U17 to U19 Indoor Championships. There was a great turnout and many fantastic performances from Leevale athletes at the Munster u12 to u13 and u17 to u19 Indoor championships in Nenagh on 19-20 February.
Leevale athletes set an incredible 7 championship best performances over the weekend. Lucy-May Sleeman was responsible for 3 of these, setting new records in the girls u19 60m (7.64s), 200m (24.93s) and 60m Hurdles (8.88s).
Leevale pole vaulters were responsible for 4 of the championship best performances. These were set by Alex Neff (boys u16, 3.50m), Joshua Fitzgerald (boys u18, 4.20m), Conor Callinan (boys u19, 4.55m) and Una Brice (girls u19, 3.66m).
