A large contingent of our juveniles traveled yesterday to Waterford RSC Track for Ferrybank AC Open Sports Day. A fabulous day was had by everyone with all our athletes enjoying themselves and making friends. Open Sports days are a vital cog in the wheel of athletics in Ireland and give athletes the chance to enjoy their running without the intensity of championship events.
Thanks to all coaches and parents that traveled, especially Avian Egan for coordinating with coaches, parents and athletes, making the event possible.
