Five Leevale athletes have been selected on the Irish Team to compete at the European Athletics Championships:
- Louise Shanahan 800m
- Michelle Finn 3000m SC
- Anika Thompson 10000m
- Ryan Creech Half Marathon
- Colin Doyle 4x100m
The 2024 European Athletics Championships will take place in Rome from 7-12 June some 50 years after the Italian capital last staged the championships.
