The Munster Juvenile Indoor Relays took place on Saturday in Nenagh. Our relay teams traveled in force with a total of 19 teams taking part. 14 teams were from U14 down, so there was some great participation on the day. The triple jump, high jump, and shot putt events also took place.
We had 13 podium places in total: 6 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze.
Relays are a very important part in juvenile development. Participation, teamwork, coordination and enjoyment are all key factors.
It was great to see so many of our young athletes taking part.

Meanwhile, at the Karen Fenton 5K, we had the battle of the Harringtons, father and son Chris and Callum. Callum just prevailed on the final stretch to claim victory over Chris.
