Leevale are well positioned in both the men’s and women’s competitions after the first round of the National Leagues. In the pool that was contested in Castleisland, Leevale’s women’s team led the scoring in the by just a point from Ferrybank, while the men were in second behind Kerry Athletics. Overall, combining the results of the pools contested in both Castleisland and Sligo IT yesterday, Leevale are second in the women’s standings in a close contest with DSD, Ferrybank and Tír Chonaill, and fourth in the men’s competition.
