The Munster Masters & Juvenile Combined Events T&F Championships took place at CIT last weekend and there were five Leeevale athletes in action. In the juveniles, James Heffernan finished 3rd overall in the BU18 combined events. The masters athletes acquitted themselves very well, winning most of the events they competed in. Brian Hayes won the discus, javelin, hammer, and shot in the M35 category, while in the M40 events, John Corr won a sprint double. Also in the M40 category, Joe Nagle won the shot and discus and finished 3rd in the long jump. Eilís Ní Fhaoláin had a good double in the 100m and long jump events in the W45 section.
