A great second round performance in yesterday’s AAI National T&F Leagues at Santry saw Leevale’s men’s and women’s teams qualify in style for next month’s final. In a much improved display from the first round, the highlights of the day were in the men’s 4x400m relay where Cathal Owens ran a brilliant final leg to hold off the challenge of Clonliffe, and in the women’s 4×400 where a hugely impressive Leevale team won by a large margin.
The results mean that the Leevale women qualify in second position overall, while the men lie third.
