Leevale travelled in force to Nenagh for the Munster juvenile indoor relay championships. Two buses and fleet of cars left Cork to descend on Nenagh for the day. All Leevale teams excelled, winning a total of 7 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Three of the gold winning teams set new championship records in the process; girls under 10, girls under 13 & boys U13.
A total of ten relay teams from under 12 and up are now qualified for the All Ireland Indoor Championships which will be held in the new stadium in Athlone on April 6th. Once again the club will travel in force to the national championships with strong expectations for good performances.
