A number of Leevale athletes travelled to compete in the Munster Masters Cross Country. The conditions in Cappawhite were akin to a mud bath, but this didn’t stop Carmel Parnell who once again was a class apart in her own category. In the Masters Men, John O’Connell was well to the fore throughout and finished 6th overall. Finbarr O’Dwyer finished 5th in the M40, and the M35 team which included John O’Connell, Cillian Ó Tuama, Darren Molloy and Padraig Ó Dubhgáin finished 2nd to East Cork.
