Leevale Junior men had a fantastic weekend at the European Junior Clubs Championship Cup in Leiria, Portugal. With a full squad of athletes covering a total of 19 events.
Leevale finished 7th out of the nine competing teams in the men’s division. This was a valuable experience for all the squad to compete in a an international meet and it has given them a hunger to go on for more.
There where notable performances for Matt Murnane 2nd 800m, Charlie O’Donovan 2nd 1500m, Luke Horgan 2nd 3K, David Fox 3rd in the 3K steeple chase and Andre Christie 3rd in the hammer.
